On May 23, Zhejiang Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau learned that certain substances including tents were badly needed by Guangyuan Municipal Bureau of Commerce for earthquake relief. After donating around 400000 RMB Yuan in personal names twice and contributing 500000 RMB Yuan to our counterpart Jiange County of Guangyuan, our bureau was still anxious to help the disaster-hit area in need. We immediately got in touch with Hangzhou Office of Guangyuan Municipal People’s Government and tried our best to seek everywhere and bought 100 tents despite the condition that it was desperately short of tents presently. We worked overtime at that night and sent these 100 tents to Hangzhou Office of Guangyuan Municipal People’s Government as soon as possible. The tents were delivered to Qingchuan County, the hardest-hit place in Guangyuan City the next morning on time. It is learned that on the 25^th, the most serious 6.4 aftershock hit Qingchuan again ever since May 12, and this batch of tents happened to arrive in Qingchuan County on the 25^th thus gave timely assistance to the victims. The highly efficient style of work and selfless dedication of Zhejiang Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau were well received by Guangyuan Municipal Bureau of Commerce.
