The Trade between Australia and China Reached $23.3b in the First Seven Months of 2007

Wang Xinpei, the news spokesperson of the Ministry of Commence, claimed today that the bilateral trade amount between Australia and China had reached $ 23.3b in the first seven months of this year, increasing by 35% year-on-year. Among them, the export of China is $9.1b and the import $14.2b, respectively increasing by 32% and 37%. At present, Australia has become the ninth trade partner of China, as well as an important cooperation partner of mineral energy resources; besides, China is the second trade partner of Australia.
