The Commercial Director of the Commercial Department of Consulate General of France in Shanghai, the Director of the Investment Department of Consulate General of the Kingdom of Spain, the Supervisor of the Commercial Department of Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai, the Senior Business Manager of the Trade Representative of the State Government of Western Australia in China, the Chief Representative of Shanghai Office of the Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce and some of the representatives of European and American enterprises with investment in Shanghai attended the investment seminar. At the meeting, the leaders of Jiashan Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (Investment Promotion) Bureau introduced the social and economic development of Jiashan, emphasized the location advantages and investment promotion policies of our county and welcomed merchants from Europe, America and Middle East in Shanghai to pay an inspection trip to Jiashan. Jiashan is in the center of Yangtze Delta and it is close to Shanghai, Hangzhou and other big cities. In the recent years, our county has actively accepted the industry transfer of Shanghai and now the electronics industry, precise mechanism manufacturing industry, etc. have been the pillar industries of Jiashan. The good geographical position and preferential policies have attracted near 50 European and American enterprises to settle in Jiashan and currently the development trends of these enterprises are all quite good.
